I started riding at Pigeon House Equestrian a year ago as an adult beginner and I have weekly 45-minute lessons which have become the highlight of my week. The stables are a very happy and welcoming place for people of all ages and stages, and the daily activities are organised and efficient. The ponies and horses are all kind, safe, responsive and well-behaved. The teaching from Sarah and Poppy is superb – similar themes, different approaches. Both have given me huge confidence and skill. The learning is not just about riding technique – it’s also about positive mindset and horsewomanship in general. As well as lessons, we sometimes hack out and there are monthly Adult Pony Days with other like-minded adults which are friendly, motivating and fun. 2018 has been my ‘Year of the Horse’ and riding has become my greatest passion. A huge thumbs up to Pigeon House Equestrian – it’s fantastic!

Pigeon House is simply superb. I lost my horse mojo and confidence after a bad fall (not at Pigeon House) and within half an hour of riding at Pigeon House it returned! With excellent customer service, beautiful well-schooled horses, helpful, warm & friendly staff, superb timekeeping, and consideration at all times for health and safety there is nothing to not like.
